Looks very nice!

We want specs (cc, psi, etc.)

BTW: Why are most people using MAP sensor for the fueling.
Isn't MAF more easier?

MAP is much better on turbocharged engines. MAF sensors are tempramental, need cleaning often, and max out fairly quickly. A Map sensor will keep working long after a MAF has died. Its easy to pick a Map sensor as well - choose how much boost you want to run maximum, add 1 bar to that number (for atmospheric pressure) and then go find your Map sensor. I wouldn't imagine there's many people running over 1 bar (although I could be wrong) so they would use a 2 bar map sensor. Anyone running over 1 bar would use a 2.5 bar or 3 bar map sensor.

One word to describe that little lot. “QUALITY.”

With regards to launch control how are you going about it?

It’s just that I’ve seen a well known mini with a system fitted which works amazing ling well. Producing constant 60fts. It’s the future I think.

Great work.

Si - the launch control is closely linked to the traction control, it is not a simple rev limiter for the line. Its all based on relative wheel speed front to rear and allowable difference in speed between the wheels, combined with "torque" reducing spark scatter to keep the speed differential the same until full grip is attained and the motor cannot spin the wheels no matter the revs - I think this motor will trouble the tc in all the gears going by my gear cascade estimations! or in simple terms its estimated to have the same accelerative force at 100mph in 4th gear as my na 1380 twink had at 60mph in second gear - which believe me wasn't slow!

Nic - its not as bad as you would think - but you would have to swop to our ecu for engine control - the rest is straightforward. drop me a pm if you are interested

cheers

Johnk - It will be very interested in seeing your system working.

And with TC active will this also help out with the clutch loading to..? e.g clutch slip?

Si P - yes the load on the clutch will be limited by capping the torque in lower gears via closely controlled boost pressure.

I just had a nasty feeling of deja-vu here... all this 'talk' and I just kept thinking hang-on, this sounds like Peter the magazine man...

And then i realised that there are pictures to prove it... And appearances at shows. And.....

Good stuff John...

Ah wondered when those pics would return of the manifold! *wink*

That would of saved me soo much hassle. lol

Traction control...now play fair...hmmm tempted to go for slicks with some very half arsed treads cut into them and some tyre paint that says A008's on the side, they'll be none the wiser. *laughing*

Now that's interesting. Looks like a T2/T25 housing, but the 9 blade impeller would suggest that it's much newer technology.
