hopefully be a few extra banana's, running the same boost but with a decent setup it should be a lot better.

finally fired it up for the first time tonight!!!

had an issue with the mpi radiator being as useful as a teabag at holding water so put my old metro one in.

After that tried to restart it and it just wouldn;t have it, just kept flooding. After thinking it was ignition based for a while decided to re-check fuel pressure which was fine, took off the dashpot and turned ont he pump to see fuel absolutely pissing out of the jet. We think it must have got some shit stuck in the needle valve. Luckily i've got a spare carb and a spare rebuild kit so we did a quick rebuild on me spare and swapped em over and its fine now.

Tomorrow i'll finish the intercooler piping, make sure the clutch is ok, rebleed the brakes, do the tracking by eye, fit some bonnet pins and take it for a test drive with some luck.

Only up the road however you will have to pick it up due to the fact i have a broken ankle and cannot drive :(

I have it from a reliable source in rallying that the MPi rad is useless.

Either stick with your metro rad or use a Nova rad.
