I looked for a TVR M series for ages in the late 80's / early 90's, I seem to remember driving over to David Gerald? I think he was the only Midlands based dealer then but they were all to expensive for a poor student - even the 1600M...

My plan was to rewire it (all the chatter at the time was about the electrical problems) and take it from there...

I drove plenty of the later cars, including the saggy arse (Sagaris?), Chimera etc, but I'd still go for the M series over any of the others...

Robert, he has avoided being diagnosed insane longer than most of us have been alive

they nearly got me in the 40's nic , i think it was the nitrous on my merlin in the spitfire IV that almost gave it away , but they forgot about me when i was in the 40 year cryogenic chamber experiment .

yes joost power went from 37 bhp to 85 at 8500. 15 psi.thats when the clutch gave up .

pk power should have been around 10k rpm .on the other hand power went from 20 to 60 bhp in around 500 rpm lol.afaicr..

Yep the goat, doing his thing, I must admit to being one of those who said he should have retired after the Ducati debacle, but glad I was very wrong.

I have been at a few races where he drove a GT3 Rarri in the Blancpain series and he was no slouch as you would expect.

Still not sure how he keeps motivated tho'
