I can't tell from any of your photos, does the low front mounted rad 'see' any or enough of the air flow from just the main upper grille? The upper grille area looks good for the intakes though.

With a number plate in the OEM position it blocks / disturbs most of the available lower duct area which is why I favour the bonnet mount number plate irrespective of aesthetics as you can open up the area where the number would be, I think slots or rectangles are less obvious / visible than holes for this.

I mocked a Clubman front myself and this was the biggest problem I had - utilising the upper grille area for cooling

Yeah the weight thing is significant between stick on plates and standard, it's difficult, I just got a couple of parts delivered which are 10g each heavier than they should be, it sounds mad but it annoyed me as it's getting difficult to keep redoing parts or finding weight now.

The 7 port head is going off for some additional porting, bigger valves and bench flow testing to try and break the 150bhp barrier.

Looks like a lot more shrouding with the 37, will it really flow more ?

I hope so. I've factored in a extra 0.5cc to de-shroud the inlets. 3% bigger in diameter, but 6% extra surface extra. There's currently a step in the throat to the insert , so going up by 1mm will help. I'm not sure at this stage if it needs bigger inserts though.

I would be way too scared to bolt all that stuff together.

New smaller and lighter swirl header. I ordered 2, as I'll be using a simlar cooling setup on the other Nissan powered NA build.

The crank doesn't have a grove on the tail end to locate the primary gear. Its held in place by the flywheel and the bush needs machining to give a 10thou gap. This as been done to improve reliability and prevent the the crank snapping on excessive & aggressive down changes.
