I'm rather jealous of all those pretty shiny bits!

I said I'd do it, there's no need to remind me every 6 months!!

There bull nosed out at a angle from each side to create a smooth radius inside. They still get the normal oil flow as far as I know.

It's MED, but same as Swuftune, both made under license from Arrow. Very little difference and 10% cheaper.

Warwickshire.

This build looks awesome! Really like where it is headed.

In my old mini I had a full race 1380cc on a 48DCOE with a 300 scatter as a daily driver for 2 years. It pulled hard from 3500rpm to 8k. I ran it on a 3.9cwp too!

Yep cut down miglia ones. Im happy with them. Everybody goes to wide in my opinion. The only problem cutting them down is they become a lot smaller curve, hence you have to run the car really low.

It's a good feeling watching it come together. Transformering what's in your head into reality.

I'm going to stick it on the scales tomorrow. I reckon 300kg so far?

Bonded brackets underneath, with a dab of body filler and then fibreglass them in.

My guess at the weight so far *wink*

279kg

But I don't know what the painted weight of the shell was, plus a few other guesses:

Bare Shell = 133kg
CF roof = 3kg?
CF boot floor = 2kg?
CF parcel shelf = 0.8kg
Wiper motor + drive tubes fitted?

Never weighed it since I got it back,

Roof 4.9kg
Boot floor 1.8k
Tank 4kg
Rear beam 24kg
Wheels 30kg
Seat
7.2kg
Harness 2.5kg
Steering wheel 1.1kg
Dash 0.5kg
Front 10kg?
Front subframe 50kg?

That's about where I thought. This also includes the rod change, pedal box, brake masters, brake lines, fuel pump, filter, telfon lines, 3 arches, etc.

Very Roughy what's left (over estimates)

Engine, box, head 140kg
Radiator and water pump, controller 10kg
Exhaust 10kg
Doors 10kg
Glass / poly 20kg
Loom, switches, ecu etc 5kg
Battery 2kg
Wiper motor 2kg

That's another 199kg

Plus another 9kg of bits. There's your 500kg.
