I'm not sure what the advantage of the a belt is? Is it not just more maintenance and they are a pain to get to./
I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

I think I mentioned it in another thread but do you think the sticking valve you had earlier could have been partly responsible, ie, overloaded the belt at the time leading to early failure later on ???

yeah the plugs are a PITA when they move, last one I did I tapered the hole and made a tapered plug up.

I had to take nearly 1.5mm of my deck to get it lined up... although, i could always just trim a bit off the top of the accralites,

I had to take a similar amount of the top of my block to get the Cooper S pistons flush with the top of the block, and the Accralites also sit flush, so you might be ok, or at least only have to shave a gnats dick off them Edited by Sprocket on 25th Jul, 2010. On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:
