Had some wheel nuts made.

Bucking the trend and updating my thread.

Does no one do this anymore? :(.

Bought some 3D printed boot hinges. Roughly 1/3 of the weight at 44g. Came from Richley Automotive.



Managed to pick up a new seat. Tillet B7 fia approved and only 3.7kg add mounts at 1kg. Decent weight saving. Shame I only have the one.



I’m changing to SC 5 port injection kit. Dropped a few grams from the coil Bracket.



Much need mani gasket change!



Stripped out the engine loom as I’m going to make a new one, gotten very messy with all the stuff I’ve added and changed.
Also at my last track day the screen shattered. I’ve ordered a plaatic4performance mounded screen with anti fog coating. Should drop a few KGs.



My current parcel shelf was a bit thrown together. 2mm sheet of alloy and the original tank bulge. I’m chopping it all out and fitting a sheet of carbon instead. Still keeping it removable. Should be a lot neater and lighter.



The battery box also met the grinder! I’m moving the batter to the passenger footwell so it’s not needed. It weighed 1kg. Flat sheet should be 200g :).

I’m changing all the bolts in the rear quarters and rear screen to Ti with alloy nuts. They needed sorting as the windows have always leaked a little.

I don’t even think people really post a build diary as such on Facebook.

I do think if people aren’t willing to use and comment on the forums they will be lost.

Mk1 performance forum is still very busy.

Following this with great interest as I am thinking of going efi as well.

There’s a pretty simple fix that brings all the photos back on forums.

TMF been using it for a while.

Dunno why most use photobucket in the first place. Found it shit! I just use Facebook. Flickr is the best though.

At work where i browse the forum most if i need pictures i use the add on Robert has linked in his sig. Its an add on for chrome and works a treat!

Yea should be a bit under 550 after this winter. Need to weigh it again. Was around 556 but lost track.

Only one I have booked is the MK1 action day so far.

Will book some more up when cars back up and running though. I’ll post on here if your getting back out again this year?
