Ok then a bit of an update,

I started at 09.00 on the car today so I could get it fired up! I have got a mpi tank off Ron, so I started sanding it down for a bit of a cleanup and to weld on a fitting for the right-hand tank to link with, all was going well I started in the boot got it all done as I was working my way through the car tinting up the fittings when I get to the fuel pressure regulator I just nipped it up abit and it cracked so lots of Fs and Bs was sad. So I pushed on and it started on the button so I am now happy and sad as I have to piss about looking for a regulator.

A bit of a vid

If the fuelling and timing isn't right it will get a lot of heat quickly

This is what I was thinking mate so I don’t what to piss about with it too much as I don’t have a clue how to set the crab up and it’s still on the MJ base map. As I only have 1380cc N/A maps.

Sounds like a little toy car, awesome mate!

When you booking it into Vmax? If I'm free I might come down for a run on the rollers to see the power, need to get mine finished first, couple days work.

I've used them on a 1275 and oli79 is using the on his 1293 and I have one on my 1310. I reckon start with the 22degree one and go from there.

Excellent stuff bro!

Have read through this whole thread twice, once on here and once on TMF haha

This is very annoying however, as now it is making me want to hurry up and get my turbo lump running in the beast

Keep up the cracking work!

Oh and P.S, im only in farnborough, so once mine is eventually running, i'd love to pop round and have a gander at it in person!

Did you weld the union on the petrol tank? I need to do the same but I'm too scared to do it. I know someone who had a petrol tank explode when he tried to weld it even though it had been empty for a long time.

Yes my mate did it, I just striped the tank and put it in the sun for a day, he sad ''he was happy when he had a look at it. But as a rule he dont work with fuel tanks.
