I completely missed this. a perfect visual example for all to see of the issues we've been experiencing

Engine out!

This is the oil pump gasket out my engine. The lighter area are the marks from the pump that was in it, a minispares turbo pump.
I have marked on the gasket as a comparison so you can see the difference. The black area is a sharpie trace of the new swiftune competition pimp. Clearly showing that it actually has some gasket face between the inlet and outlet and the cam area.

Swiftune pump on the left.

Hopefully the swiftune pump will sort the oil pressure build up when cranking.

Now onto the gearbox, hope to diagnose that this evening.

I should think that 140 is well within the realms of possibility Rob.

Rob wins. 141bhp and 156ftlbs of torque. Can't get over how fast it feels. It's running very safe at the moment. Like to get some miles in and then maybe wind it up a bit more.

I need to have a play about with how I have the actuator and bleed valve set up. Apart from that it was spot on.

Cheers chaps. Its definitely going to take some getting used to.

I also need to sort out my boost gauge. Have an AEM combined boost/AFR but the boost on it is really hard to read.

I'm a bit scared to crank it up anymore. Stuart seems to think I'm probably on the reliable limit of the 21253's.

Although I know a few people on here chuck a lot more boost at them.

That's excellent going. Keep it at 10psi for now. You can always go up once you get used to it. You can never go down!

In the 13's at last!.. Just

what is interesting is the gt17 vs T2. my engine was 1293 same pistons probably not as fancy head flow wise either.

i made 120 odd at 10 psi with stuart but really struggled to get power over 6k rpm with the flow on the t2. just goes to show with a lil more space the gains that can be had.... not wholly contributing to the turbo but mostly.

We bumped up the timing all the way across and that gave me an extra 10bhp straight away without playing with the boost :).

141bhp is at 5500 rpm. Megajolt tops it out at 7k but I'm not sure it's need to go up that high really.

The boring bloke who runs this place.

140 is a lovely figure in a TM - especially a light one. My last one was 142bhp and it felt super rapid.

Great job :)

Happy days mate, don't listen to them and keep the boost where your happy with it, as if you up it to much you will open Pandora's box of hurt on your self!! (Maybe I am getting old and boring) it will be concourse for me soon lol.

Well i did talk quite a lot about running at 16psi but 10 is definitely enough for me at the moment haha.

Been driving it about a bit today after some sorting out it was just under 10psi see 9.9 on the gauge now :).
