No Paul, the 67 miles. That's enough for me, never done that amount of climb for that distance before. About 6500ft I believe.

Doing the Rat Race route for Coast-2-Coast tomorrow. 200 miles (75 off road) in 3 days. Might hurt a bit!

My latest toy, not going to say much about it other than it was hand made for me by a little bike frame builder in Frome, you'll either get it and appreciate it for what it is or not understand it.

I cycled the Coast 2 Coast over two days three weeks ago for charity, 140miles and 9500ft climbed on a mountain bike with touring tyres. Big achievement for me having not cycled for years (I used to mtb Grizedale & the lakes in the early 90s).
Anyway, 800mls & 23,780ft so far this year..... now then do I continue to cycle, work on the mini or work on the tr7v8???

Paul, hardtail downhill frame, hand made in the UK, i figure at my age I'm never going to be a super fast race winner, or even a contender so why go for a multi thousand pound bike, for what i ride this is perfect, the geometry is crazy but point it down hill and it is super responsive yet very stable, they've really put a lot of thought into the design, it's also one of the most fun bikes I've ever rode.

I love that Rob, love long travel hardtails, there super fun.

I bought this about a month ago purely for fitness to aid my MTB riding..

I must admit, I'm mildly addicted to road riding now.

Updated picture of the tank too..

Now running 1x10, renthal bars and a reverb dropper it's so much fun to ride. Took it around a Coed'y brenin last month as well as Penmachno (if your into your trails and haven't already, go ride penmachno trail, it's beautiful.) It's a pig to ride uphill, but point it toward something fun and it's the fastest bike I've ever ridden. Makes a mockery of my friends Nukeproof Mega TR.

So what are your goals for 2015.

I am planning on climbing Sa Calobra and, maybe, Puig Major next month.

Then Alpe D'Huez and Mont Ventoux in July/August after the TDF.

I recently got into this… bought a road bike myself a few weeks ago. Did 80 miles last week - over 4 separate rides.. Just waiting for my friend to turn up now with his bike. Going to do a 30 miler shortly!

Careful. Cycling is good for the body and soul but bad for your wallet, time and will delay any Mini projects *smiley*
