I was troubled with too much understeer. To get a Mini going, the rear needs to be "loose".

You are right. I had to try that to get it to turn in. I need to gain some more negative camber at the front, but that's not easy with fixed lower arms and a restriction on how low it can be. The dampers were harder at the rear than the front. Running red spot cones all around.

very good :)

peace*smiley*

thinking of stiffing up the rear suspension, and wonder (if we leave angles out) the differences of:

wind up the dampers
get stiffer cones
stiffen up the ARB

cheers

I had to rund 5mm toe out on the rear to get the car to do what I wanted. Measured on 10" wheels.

Getting the front camber from 1 degrees to 2,5 degrees helped with the understeer.

I didn't either, so I fitted them, and had the FIA HTP approved with this, so...Good!

Near Paris - France

The first 3 minutes looked like the breaking in ...

I mean you got passed by that green mini pretty fast and is it the same that overtake you once more around 8' ?

Then from 4 on it looked much better !
