So gonna throw loads of photos of what happened over a few months progress...

Tank in...and beer consumed

Engine in..poor photo

Started routing lines inside the car..tempory at this stage

Some plastic window in...and a few more bits like steering column.

And then to cut a long story short and many hours in the garage (and no pictures taken..)

It was on the road...

Half finished interior at the moment..

So.....as a car, on the road its finished...

Got many hours left to get it ready for the start of the race season.. Hope you like!!

Looks really good!!
It reminds me a lot of my cars build. I finished it in 2010 and drove it straight to imm in Germany as a shakedown. After 3 years sprinting and hill climbing it's amazing how much it has evolved!
Keep up the good work. Out of interest where are you competing next year?

SDCC Curborough. First sprint date is 30th March as an uncompetitive non championship sprint!

That's hopefully going to be my shakedown, and perhaps a track day at Rockingham beginning of March with Northloop.

Need to find some enthusiasm to get it ready!

What size are the boot hinge pins? Were they a direct fit or did you need to enlarge the holes?

Cheers for the comments chaps.

The boot pins are pip pins. The ones I got are -

''Quick Release Pin 8mm x 36mm (overall length 53mm) Stainless Steel.''

I would say they are a touch to long but still look OK. Other options were R clips, but thought i'd go for something that looked a little more durable. You just have to punch out the pins that are already in the hinges, then drill out to 8mm.
