great project you've got going on here. Just a warning about the bike cans. I run debaffled 997 cans and they are rediculously loud which can sometimes be amusing but you may struggle to get under track day limits and the local police will soon become regular acquaintances. Keep up the good work!

well, as most of you saw the project was coming on well, underside and boot all painted and suspension fitted. until the wife entered the man cave " Dont like that colour " first words i heard. great. so couple of hours later and new paint ordered. Ral 1019 Grey Beige.

paint re-apllied not a chance of the floor rusting this time.

beam with handbrake cabel fitted, although belend here forgot to mount the cable brackets on the radius arms as i fitted it. job for this weekend.

also re-did the front subframe arms as didnt like the red

and added speakers to the man cave, only need a fridge and a telly and im self sustained after arguments. next one will probably be about the interior.

hmmm

at this rate the only bit from either car will be the roof skin and rear quarters. should be able to register it on a 13 plate

Carnforth, Lancs

Check the brake shoes when you put the rear end back together, it looks like you have them on the wrong sides.
The shoe end with less lining should be at the top on the front shoe and bottom on the rear shoe

The shell had previously been rolled and as it was a track car the headlining didnt go back in because of this the cant rail was never replaced. Because I want it to be mildly nice to drive it needs one in so

Before

After

Also got some miglia arches that have been painted and reacted but the paint is realy hard not sure how to sand it. Will try
With a da tommorow.

Also got problems with my coilover brackets catching on fg front brace bars, not sure what to do yet

Any suggestions.

starting to see the light,

doors test fitted in today, both sides need gap work

front end gapped up well and all bits fitted niceley, moustache needs alittle fondeling to run the edge

need to put a new lowerdash rail in as i bent the one thats in when i used it to jack the floor in. my plans are a little different. Any guesses whats going in the middle.

also test fitted the mirrors on the doors. few holes to weld up first mind you.

guess some front arche is going to need losing

front door stripped of weight, door frames are going to need some serious adjustment at the top

Also going to add a stainless steel trim to the front bulkhead cover up my carb box, as dont like it anymore

plenty more to do yet
