I wouldn't take much notice of the order of the list. Even if we did run it that way, chances are people won't arrive in order and there will be problems meaning people either need to move down the list or not run at all.

I think it is just fairer to say that preference will be given to minis fitted with turboed A series, but we'll try and get everything on.

Going by this, then the metro van will probably be one of the last to run as it's not even a mini and I'm happy with that

I dont mind being on the list as a back up :) but will attend with or without the car.

A little bit of useless, but possibly interesting information.

Note the address "Leyland Trading Estate" ? Well this area used to be a British Leyland foundry. Originally aquired by Morris Motors in 1947 which then bcame BMC, Leyland etc. Finally closed in 1981.

Hence it is possible that some of the cast componnets of your Mini may have started life on this very site.

wanted my engine built by mitp, it may be built, but no way will it be in and running,
so hopefully this could be a go-er,
if it is full ill still bring it down, if its not running ill just bring the missus car, i'd like to make an appearance either way even as a spectator
