Additionally, I wanted to dump the air pre-intercooler, and as it was with the original mod, it would have been post intercooler. I may be wrong with this, but I just could not see the point in dumping the air after it had gone through the IC.

It might quiet down the DV ?

On the OEM setup I had seen, DV is from TB mouth to turbo inlet, best way to have the turbo ready for action I believe and it is really quiet

Thanks Matt.
Now I have a few "teething" issues resolved it starts up and ticks over nice and sweet.
Couple of problems still to overcome -
The DV is leaking. I do not think it is a diaphram problem because pinching the MAP signal pipe makes no difference, so I guess it is just not seating properly at the moment.
Also, I have a coolant leak from the Turbo. I think it is the Jubilee clip on the exit. I can't get to it very well without a strip down of the injectors and heat shield, I will leave it until the engine is back out of the car.
I'm also struggling a bit with the IACV. It seems to move to whatever position it wants to - Thats just setup though.

I've got a nice steady tick over (when the IACV lets me), as low as ~850RPM, AFR's wander around 13.2 - 13.8, but they are fairly well matched, Thats using 80Lbs/Hr (840cc/min) siemens injectors.

The pistons were from Avonbar, back in Sept 2010.
