Ive made some progress with the floor. The bulkhead is repaired, all welds ground back, offered it up and all was good until i looked at the last side! :?

Did it not have replacement step already fitted, using the repair panel that goes right back to the bottom of the quarter panel aswell? Or am i dreaming, this could be why its out of alignment maybe? |

Your having the same kind of problems I had on the van...repair panels being different to what you have on the car.

Any chance you could measure between the inner A panel lips at the top and bottom? (where it joins the panel that the interior door switch is on) https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

Id put a new step in, surely you will have to put full rear quarters in anyway because of the tubbing, then you can just fit it to where the floor is |

I had a play around today and tried the door fitment, It was spot on panel gap wise but the bottom front corner stuck out 10mm on the passenger side. Tried the drviers side and it was perfect gap and flush with A panel.

You must have an inner wing issue Matty. The A panel cant be 10mm out without the inner wing being wrong, Id look into that first
I seriously doubt it! |

Your right Paul, I looked at it again today and you can see that the lower part of the inner wing has been pushed outwards. Should be an easy fix with a new inner wing and A panel. :) https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

If it has been pushed out, can you not pull it back in?

Graemec - It probably would work, but as a new inner wing is going in I'll just wait until I finish the back end.

A slight update. Ive started work on the rear panel, so I can then get the boot floor and arches back in. After speaking to a helpful chap at M Machine it sounds like its best to do the boot floor, arches, closing panels, then quarter panels
