I used these fittings on my home made rail:

http://www.speedflowshop.co.uk/-06jic-male...3-06-1206-p.asp

The plan is to seal them with an 'O' ring.

As long as the bore in the rail is not too big for the 1/2" thread then that would be fine.

the injectors are at a nice angle btw,

how are you going to seal the plenum to the head? gaskets or maggard seals?

joe, as i am not a machinist or fabricator most of the fabrication work has been done my a mate inbetween jobs, i will let him tig it up he is not really experianced with ally but his welding on the whole is very good so i trust him, iirc the injectors are 28 degrees from horizontal they were also positioned as close to the flange as possible as iirc the closer they are the steeper you can have them, the optimum would have been 25 degrees iirc for this head, i have the misab plates to seal the head with the rubber washers i will try and get a pic they seem hood quality, have to say overall i am really happy with it, it all fits together nice and snug with no tape for mockup, need to make two endplates now one for the TB and other end, Joe what thickness did you use for the TB mounting plate i was thinking 10mm

If that welds together as well as it should it will be brilliant.

That fuel rail is so much better than the one I made :)

And I think the way you've set the inlets in the plenum is the right way to do it despite the comments on the earlier post.

if someone goes the same route i will happily scan in the drawings and list the components bought if it stops you making the same mistakes i have

10mm is what i used for the TB end, and yes my injectors are about 30 deg i think,

the Misab plates are good, cheap too!
I have had my plenum on and off loads of times (at least 20) and the misabs are only just starting to look a bit ropey. only thing is they leave a bit of a void for fuel to collect in i doubt its a problem though.
