i desperatley need alloy calipers and hubs. after assembling the front subframe today i realised it still weighs shit loads with them hubs and calipers.

well finally got back from newquay and had an ace weekend . massive thanks to carl as the week before riv run i decided i needed the new outers for my wheels. i sent my centers on the monday and somehow he had drilled the new outers and sent them back to me by wednesday! top bloke!

you could trim the mig arches back a bit? you going to pod for testing or york??

ive only got cheep second hand arches, so these are getting trimmed,
both mainly york at first its only 40 mins away but its abit basic, pod is about 100miles but a weekender should make it worth while, abit chavtastic though

do you have any mot issues with that setup with no bulk head between you and fuel tank?,

ill let you know in advance if im going to the pod, it would be fun to have a serious mini to drag against

the mot is urm ... convenient lol darren grasbys promotive demo car never had a rear bulkhead and was road legal so i presume its not a problem. at some point i'm going to add an alluminium rear bulkhead to tidy it up.

pod would be ace :) or avon but thats even further for you i think.

That bulkhead was the one I wanted to see, I had an idea you had chopped it out. I'm gonna have a word with my mot man, considering the amount of rollcage I have I'd like to chop the one out on mine. There must be a good 6 or 7 kg of it.

with the seatbelt points and the bulkhead i think it weighed in the region of 5kgs so was worth it.

picked up the new roof this morning off dave kimberly and then set about removing the old f/g roof.

will be removing the bit of metal around inside of roof skin later, every little helps and all that.

the support for the headlinging? that'll be gone today :)
hopefully can get this roof fitting better by tapping the edges down so the edge wil sit down into the roof gutter.
