Of course, I've measured the castor at full droop so it will be higher than normal running.

I need to get some weight in there to see how it sits.

It does run a lot of castor, particularly noticeable on this photo attached.

Sturgeo has built up the Megasquirt:

You can see all the left out components that you do not need when you use Jean's quad driver board.

We still need to add some resistors in the proto area and flying leads to the quad driver board.

We've also got the brakes working and started fitting the handbrake components.

Next weekend should see the start of the engine build.

Apparently not according to the MOT Testers manual:

http://www.motuk.co.uk/manual_240.htm

But I'm happier with them with all the potholes about here.

Whilst the old boy was making some fuel rail brackets earlier i started cracking on with the plumbing.

Also ran the feed and return lines to the boot.
The swirl pot is fed via a Facet in the boot.
We need a new tank with a return aswell. Got my eye on one of the small concept racing ones, need to contact them and see if they can put the -6 fittings on the feed and return pipes.

Just to show that the old boy has not been slacking. Fuel rail brackets:

Still need to drill the fixings holes and tidy them up, but coming along.

Bit chunky more like. I was going to make them out of 5mm plate, then decided that I wanted removeable caps so had to thicken the material to take a screw. M5 looked too small so went with M6. I had some 3/8 plate handy so used that.

I could thin down the leg part but that would be as useful as shelling broad beans.

Are the brackets being welded or screwed on Paul?

If the latter how about getting them anodised,

I really would anodise those. Otherwise they will look super manky in double quick time. All the fuel rail and inlet on the DON is black anodised.
