thats the problem,but why are they sticking ?

it seems like the calipers dont release and they stick on,
therefore creating more heat thus more friction meaning less movment for me,

i thought they should all have compensators,
could it be the master cylinder?

i litterally cant press the brakes more than 3 times before they stick on, making me think it was a hose,but as ive changed the hoses at the front im stuck,

is it even when its static? youve changeed the calipers and you know they are not seized.

next would be the rears. whip off the drums and make sure that noting is seized up, no lip on the drums, rear wheels cylinders are ok.

has it always done this or is it a recent thing? its been find up till now and nothing has changed on the car?

if the rears are fine and compensator doesnt make a difference/there is no need for one then change the master.

Did you change the rear hoses aswell?

if they are sticking from cold with a few pumps of the pedal and you've replaced the hoses (assuming the new hoses are ok) then possibly a problem with the master cylinder?

also check the brake pedal is fully returning as it could be keeping the system pressurised if not

it was like it when i got the truck,

but as ive not been anywhere far in it i never noticed,
il check the rears at the week end,and il double check the lines have been fitted properly too,as i think the guy was a bit of a goon,

if the hoses are good and the fronts are still sticking then whatever condition the rear hoses are in shouldn't affect them.

ahhhh its just the fronts then? definately?

if it is then yeah, bit pointless checking over the rears, whip on a spare master and see if that helps.

good that makes it easy to check! lol find out which are sticking and go from there.

if its the front, try a master cylinder, if its the rears make sure everything is free and the hoses havent collapsed.

well not really been too far but the engine's in now and is fun, just need to sort a few little bits out,
hopefully im gonna put the selector inside this week at some point...lol

seems alot quicker than my old mini, handles well too...
