I now have the shell completely sorted. I will run the fuel lines this weekend.
The gearbox is fully assembled with diff. The engine and box are now mated. I modded the Avonbar oil pump to fit the small bore block.
Oh, and I ordered this yesterday *happy*

Transfer casing is now on and we started to assemble the clutch/flywheel. We also made a sexy Denso alternator mount with a rose jointed adjuster :)
I'll put some pics up tonight/tomorrow

We are going to run the engine in before we put it in the car. So we will be running it on a locked dizzy and with no IC. The engine should be running in the next 2 weeks8-)

did you build up the end of the arm with weld or something?

why didnt you just offset the bush?

Nah, its a new arm so no need to build up weld. We just wanted to try to reduce friction at that poit to hopefully reduce wear. We'll se what happens

Myself and Paul got the engine in the stand yesterday. We also cranked it to see how oil pressure was. 90PSI on cranking! The turbo oil pump really is overkill on a small bore.
We also made my Megajolt loom

Due to college being gay I've only got to work on the engine once in the last 3 weeks. So here's what I got done:
Turbo oil return

Dizzy bung/breather. Not finished yet

Oh, and just for fun. Heres some parts for my new bike. Just awaiting frame, wheels and saddle

looking sweet

be careful you dont attached the turbo too rigid in too many placed, it might want to move around a shade when the manifold gets hot
