I think the rule with kids is that you get what you get. Our first didn't sleep through for 9 months and fed every 2 to 3 hours, night and day, for 6 months. I doubt that No. 2 will be worse than that.

Things have move on a little. I have all the GRP parts so I can now get the shell finished. Apart from the gearbox I have most of the majr purchases done.

Slowly. I have had some issues with building regs, but nearly there now. The footings (or pilings as they are now) should be going in in a week or two and then a couple of weeks after that the shell will be built. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk

Well things have moved on, but not with the mini. My garage build has started and the footings (or ground beam as it happens) is in. The propper building should start after Easter.

I will have 2 garages, but the one you see is a big double. I will put up photos as it grows. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk

Probably to tie in the walls as its fair sized garage. 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

What you see is a ground beam on top of pilings. On to that I am putting a block and beam floor. Without the centre section I would need 6m beams, which are expensive. With the centre section I only need 3m beams. It all sort of makes sence. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk

Finally the garage has started to be built properly. The floor is now down and the walls will start next week.

What is the advantage to a block and beam floor? Over a concrete floor? Or do you have soft ground or something?

Answers in order. It is costing me about 18k (ish) and will hopefully include the driveway too. I am sure it could be done cheeper (see the answer to toms question).
