It will not compress if there is no downstream resistance. For example, trying to force it into a small space.

There may be some internal compression and a small power loss, but it will not cause excessive heat or throttle problems.

Afterall, this is how the manufacturers do it.

To me that's the difference with the roots. Roots will compress if the consumer's flow is lower than the root's one because it's just a powerful flow source.
The screw compressor does the compression in the space between screws. The air exits already compressed whatever the consumer's flow is, even at 10 RPM. The work is always done, even if it's useless.

The Eaton superchargers are "Roots" type with a helical rotor, not screw type.

That's the explanation :)
I mixed all that up because Eaton had bought Lysholm.

I keep getting a message telling me that the pdf is protected and a password is required, am I doing something wrong?

Hi,

It takes some times, but I finally choose between VEMS and MS. It won't be one or the other. after having written a piece of code for decoding the flywheel pattern under MS, I decided to build my own ECU. So i am sure it will have all the features I want.

I spent days learning C programming, Cpp , ASM for microcontroler. i am now
learning how USB work.

I have already an idea of the hardware needed in the ecu and about its firmware.

It will take time to reinvent the wheel, but I like challenges!

The code for the MPi or SPi triggers are both available on either VEMS or Megasquirt

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

you need to run the program, not the pdf file, the program decrypts the pdf file.

Yes Sprocket, I know it.

It is just a challenge: designing a system from scratch... It won't be the best, but it will be mine.
