great guide. interestingly I was thinking that the outside temps can make a big difference with my car I have also found a needle which I think is a bit closer to to my setup of
998 - 12g295 1.5 rockers 8.7:1 8-10 psi supercharged sc12

A BCG needle I have also shrunk your pic so when it prints is about correct size for a needle.

Thanks for all of this info.

gr4h4m, are these the measurements of a standard bdd? i am starting with a leaner needle as a standard bdd was too rich at cruise befere but was perfect at light accel, now i cannot find the needle :/

i bodged this together today for measuring and marking out needle stations, just paper stuck to some cardboard and pushed the needle into it for somewhere to sit, very easy to do and makes it a lot easier, i just stick a bit of cardboard under the end of the needle to raise it up to measure.

cheers robert although i take no credit for the idea its more an evolution of the original by Turbo Tel

its on and working had a tad of bother with the coding for the gauge to read in stations but i think im on top of that now, it has thrown up some very interesting results however, im going to a club meet tonight in it and will be data logging all the way

how ever the fueling issue i was having and that lead me to build this... has not reared its ugly ass :(

It worked very well indeed but its not eactly practical to have it on all the time because for 1it sticks up 6 inch out the bonnet and for 2 at 25psi it pops the clear cover off the damper and it shoots of like a rocket so im working on v4 this is how far i have got atm.. run out of electrical supplies
The ally 'welding' sticks from the likes of ebay are actually really good
Here is a sneak preview

Forum doesnt like 8meg photos :(

resurrecting from the dead. Why can't I see the photos on the www.terryhunt.co.uk webpage? It keeps asking for a login.

apologies for question if it is repeated or resolved elsewhere.
