wtf? are you being serious?

Yes, absolutely, I only had a quick blast in the paddock on Friday afternoon to set up the boost control valve so the pulse width modulation was set at 20% which equated to about 0.7bar, or 10.3psi. We decided to see how it went on this boost for a start, I was planning to datalog my first run on sunday morning on the laptop and then increase the boost levels in the map in the ECU.
We'll maybe run some gas for MITP also.

Now that's impressive, you said you were running low boost, but I didn't expect it to be that low. I'm guessing that the cams had something to do with the power as did the revs, hum you've got my little brain thinking.

Out of interest what's the bottom end? I'm guessing standard stroke & a slight over bore, or is that something special as well?

Do you think there was a link between a drive shaft breaking on the outer CV joint and the crash the run after in the same lane??? hhmm

If you are talking about the shed racing car that crashed, apparently it had a rear tyre blow at the end of it's run.

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

yeah i saw all the steam and assumed something like wet rear wheels caused it. right at the end of the run as well.

glad to see he was ok, and from what i remember the car didnt seem too bad.
