bud
if its off a diesel bluebird itll be a t2 56 trim turbine and 60 trim compressor ,with a .49 a/r on the turbine , if its off a petrol one its the same wheels just a .63 a/r turbine .
the part nos should be tb2502 off a d.
and tb0210 off a petrol .wastegate should be around 8 to 9 psi.
hope that helps
good luck with it all

jus scoured the turbo and all i can find on it is AiResearch M10 on the comp housing and thats it, no plate on it with a serial like my T3, not a thing.

i can't remeber 100% what kean said it was advertised as, i think it was renault 5 but mentioned something about a bluebird aswell in the ad. He'll be able to tell us for sure.

Most of the stuffs in the engine bay now, still no head, i've been promised it again for tomorrow. I know where the ras going now, just need to make a couple of brackets for it but its too late to be making noise now.

currently in the garage with anton working on the wiring loom for all the new gauges, switches, megajolt etc etc...

will post some pics in a bit.

got quite a bit done today again. Rads mounted, plumbing is sorted. Intercooler piping is sorted, just need to cut a couple of lugs off the cooler so it'll sit flush under the slam panel and tension the alternator first so i know how much room i've got exactly. Master cylinders are back on too.

Antons been working on the loom all afternoon again, everythings over engineered and there's loads of extra's in there incase i add more electrical stuff in the future.

Picked my head up today at last, got home and realised it hadn't been drilled for 11 studs. Luckily Karl's (doodmeister) offered to help out again so i'm off over to his at 7:30am and he's going to take the head to work and drill it for me so i can get it fitted up tomorrow.

Here's some pics of todays progress anyway. I think the flash was going a bit wild ont he camera and its made all the colours real bright.

Shropshire.

Bud, looking great, cant believe that you have done it all so quickly, so fair play!

i noticed that you have run the heater take off back to the rad, is it better to do that rather than block it off? i havent done mine yet but was wondering what to do to it.

Bud, what are you doing for a heater?

If it's a daily driven car surely you need to keep at least a demist, or have you got a heated screen in there????

There are 4 outputs switched on either RPM or MAP... so you can have what you wish!

eg

1) launch revs
2) change up
3) redline start
4) rev cut (ign)

the list of jobs left now are:
bleed and adjust brakes & clutch
mount fuel pump
adjust tappets & mod the rocker cover to clear 11 studs
fit the exhaust
mount the dash & shift light
set the fuel pressure
change the 998 map on the jolt to a turbo one

Cheers for all the comments chaps and a big big thanks to kean, anton and karl for all the help, wouldn't have got this far without it :)

Bud, try Mech Repairs in Cheltenham, slightly closer...

www.rollingroad.co.uk

He will whine about the SU (but he is good with them) however he normally gets the car up to scratch very quickly.

If you use them let me know, only 2 miles up the road and I like to have a look over the car.
