Love it, reminds me of how much nicer it is to work on a car with a decent lift instead of my trolley jack and axel stands.

Those wheels look spot on, keep up the good work.

It was nice untill the lift broke with the car still 2ft in the air! bits to put it right cost £200, luxury comes at a hefty price! :/

Interior is staying as it is, its mint!

Lovely job, just mind that turbo to filter pipe does not collapse...You'll know if it does as it will fall flat on it's face when it comes on boost.

Top.

Had a break last weekend but have been at it again today! Car has been running very well considering.... Only getting 25mpg tho!! ;D

Ive been fitting the intercooler, dump valve and bleed valve which have transformed the car from 'pretty quick' to 'dangerous' ! I'm only running 0.3bar still :o.

Intercooler required the rad hoses to be modded a bit. The top one was shortened and the bottom one was shortended and bent a bit too by cutting a couple of slits and welding them up again.

The cooler mounts on a bracket I welded to the x-member when I had the engine out and also by a 'spike' that goes through a hole in the slam panel. Its tight but it fits.

The turbo outlet was shortened and a bit ground off the inlet mainfold for clearance.

I used 2"x16guage alloy pipe to go between the samco bends as I have a relly good freebee source or this. The pelnum was modded by cutting the old outlet off and welding a new bit on so it was coming out in the right direction. The stock 'pressure valve' in the plenum was also blocked up with a 3/8bsp plug and I welded on a stub for the dump valve to fit to.

Plumbing was done using polyurethane tubing and festo fittings which look sexual and come free from work!! Bleed valve is a bosch item fitted inside the car so I can adjust on the move 8-)

Nearly 'finished' *wink*

Looking good.

I'd like to move the air filter to somewhere it could draw the coolest air possible if possible though.

Where did you get the small hole / vac line fittings from, they look great!!!

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

Dont think theres anywhere else the filter could go relly. Its getting fairly cool air there i think as it comes in between the rad and the intercooler.

All the small hoses and fittings came from work so i couldnt tell you where to buy them but i know they are made by festo.
