To be honest Matt, I've not really taken note of the lighter components I've put on. The head I'm not sure of and the cage has a dash bar welded in so isn't thevweight of a normal roll centre cage anyway.

Road legal wise, it has no lights or indicators just carbon fibre blanks. So obviously we made a new loom.

I didn't think I'd go too mad with weight saving, front subframe is lightened, ti bottom arms, kad tie rods, KAD alloy 4 pots, force wheels, KAD alloy arms and beam axle, front is fibreglass, bootlid arches bonnet and grille are carbon weezel, doors are ally skinned, windows are polycarbonate and there's nothing really inside.
Coil overs all round they any lighter?

Running standard hubs not alloy items and rear drums. Also this weight is with my fire extinguisher.

If anything at a guess I'd say the alloy head is heavier maybe? When I take the engine out I'll weigh it

Yep, I think my K1200RS head / kit works out about 2kg more than a worked 5 port etc and 6kg more than the alloy 7 port. However the additional 10-15bhp more than makes up for the difference.

Looking forward to seeing the car in action. Any test days planned?

Yep, kind of pisses me off, especially when I am weighing and trying to lighten every thing I put back on the car. Just me being competive.

Yep is for sale. Best thing I did on the turbo was going from a 320mm to 350mm wheel.

What springs rates did you opt for, for the coilovers?

Just went for the progressive spring set up at the moment on the back and not sure off hand what the rates are on the front but i can find out ive got the chart at home.

was just part of the spax conversion coilover kit, using it as a base to work from.

Finished fitting the fuel tank, really pleased with it, hides the battery too!

Now just dropping the ride height. Looking loads better on the back already!

Anyone know a decent alloy rad to use?

Literally sadens me that i might have to get rid of this or break it, but i literally have no time to use it. flat out at work and its just sat in my friends garage. If theres enough interest in some of the bits then ill break it down.

Be interested in the front brakes.

Leave it sat in the garage, the time to use it will come.

If you don't need the cash, mothball it. You'll get time in the future and only regret it after all the effort you have put into it todate
