And those look like bike carbs too? It fits so nicely and and almost looks too tidy... so I'm guessing there's still a fair amount to do before its up and running?

Yes that mini is running bike carbs and s modified mini dizzy. You can run the Nissan fuel injection, but the inlet doesn't clear the bulkhead.

Matty as designed and inlet and plenum, along with a 4 branch manifold especially for the allspeed micra kit.

Yes that's the idea. It means you can use the Micra Ecu, Throttle body etc. As it runs a MAF sensor.

But if you already have a aftermarket ecu, then Induvual throttle bodies are slightly easier, and should gain a few bhp.

The K1100 throttles were £35, inc TPS.

Going for 358mm valve to ram pipe runner length for peak power at 7500rpm as per the cams. We might need another bend after the throttle body to bring the air and socks over the brake master cylinder though.

Interesting stuff!
Something i found out today that i thought was interesting bout these k11's-
Whilst out for work i managed to swing by local scrappy to see if there was any k11's in there... bloke said "dont touch the 5 door ones" .. i went off n found a couple cg10's and one early cg13.. came back n said how much for the whole car? (Be easier for me to strip it) he said "i said you dont touch 5 doors! You want 5 door you give 1000 pound!" I said woahhh whys that? He said "i ship them abroad i get £1000 for every 5 door k11, i have loads up the road in my other yard.. you bring me 5door i buy.. i buy.. any old nissan i buy i buy!" And as i drove off down the road i see his other yard full of micras and a container lorry reversing into yard..

Well consider export people when comes to sale, what do you think yours is worth?

The 1275 was from a L reg.. would that still be the same gearbox as the later 1.0's and 1.3's?
It was in a 5 door but i think it had been used by the fireman to train to be cut out of so im sure he wont be exporting that one.. he said im looking at 200 for engine and box but would have to let me know which ones im 'allowed'

Really, don't do this to me. I wish I knew this before I just ordered the cams, and started on the head work.

It would be much cheaper option to stick with the stock engine and run boost.

Sorry mate, I just thought that whilst it is in the workshop I may aswell use it to mock up other options to save people having to bring their cars over for work, as that's not always easy. It still may not fit in without body mods, so might not be an option as I know you said it was all a bit tight for space at the front!

It's fine mate. Like you know I was 50/50 on the NA/turbo build, but I'm sticking with the NA build now.

Bear in mind it was to release funds out of the engine and to make it used more.. im sure the n/a will make it a cheaper simpler and enjoyable drive
