What makes you say that Robert? I'm not doubting, just all a learning curve at the mo.

a few more logs, what i am showing here is

4th and 5th are with straight water
log 5 shows 4.3 degC gain over a 10.11s ( a full 4 gear pull) same pull without WI gives approx 25-30 degC gain

i did have the WI system set up and running on the fuel injector map, worked very well but seriously limited the amount of water i could inject in at low rpms, i have sacked this off for now but may revisit this with much much larger injectors

i also have a few technical issues with my boost controller but once there sorted i will be doing some more 25/28psi pulls,

I kept coming home and parking up to try replicate what happens at a drag strip heat soak + a drag run = mat/iat's keep going up
.
.

Thats not an exaggeration although i have not added typical temp drops in there
A single 12cm pc fan is enough to knock the heat soak off and just about the burnout temp off too

not really much done on this, but i thought id update with a list of things that need doing to get my arse into gear

it needs -
floor stripping inside and out, por 15 or something this time,
bonnet,
front end painting and new screen fitting,
front floor pan and diffuser
intercooler needs remounting
water injector hole needs plugging ( no more WI )
could do with another exhaust system

other than that im snowed under MS3ing the skyline *happy*

The mini will be retuned for about 20psi and stay there, i have broke something everytime i wound it up im going to stop at 20/22 ish whilst i still have an engine

Dont get me wrong the WI is fantastic but i want to enjoy it now instead of pushing for that last psi before knock
The mini will get a more basic WI system on or off with a fixed jet ( because imo wi is fantastic )
The expensive stuff is going in the skyline ready for its gt30/35 topmount in the coming months

Hey Brett, just read through everything and all I can say is wow.

Love your positionometer thing on the tube. Care to share a bit more?

next is the electronic one,
with this 'basically' there is a variable slide resistor that replaces the smaller inner tube so as the dashpot piston ( and needle) move up and down it moves the resistor
