ooo have you thought about using an insert for the threads in the brackets?

when we make them we usually put a time-sert or a helicoil in them just to be on the safe side.

also can I book a go in the passenger seat when it's got it's new stoppers?

Yep,

the thought had crossed my mind Andy, the helicoils I have seen are fairly short (about1.5x diameter?) at the moment i have a full inch of thread in the mount. Hve you seen them or the timeserts that are long?

I'll keep the seat warm lol.

Very impressed with the engine setup. Very smooth around town and it really kicks when the boost comes in! Top motor mate.
Once the strange handling is sorted, it will be an awesome little car. :)

nope,

metro front hubs with mini drive flanges, the rest is the offset of the rims.

yep, right again lol

the rim offset is definatly part of the issue, although when Garry (oneeyedlizard) drove it he reconed it was far far worse that his car on 7x13s so there is definatly somthing else at play.

i'm keeping my eyes peeled for some 6x13's in the right offset. then i can put the works arches back on :)

Won't the Metro hubs worsen the offset due to the KPI?
