when i first fired up my mini after turboing it dam think sounded like a bit like an old dustbin with a coin in it, couldnt wait!

I've flattened two batteries and killed a set of jump leads trying to start it lol. They've just charged up again so I'm going to try again. |

Bloody hell, should have started easier than that, whip the plugs out, get oil pressure, set a map(or adjust dizzy static) check needle valve height, plugs back in, get fuel and turn the key, should start within 30 seconds if all is well. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

I've only cranked it with everything in for a few seconds. Battery died before it could fire up.
