Those SSR have been on eBay a while, I seen them myself and was contemplating it before i decided with some force racings.

Not a huge amount to update, wheels are still on a boat somewhere :(

Got the front end all fettled up pretty well, just need to make some brackets on the hinge post to bolt the inside of the front to. Trying to get it so the fixings are hidden when the grille and bonnet are in place.

Unfortunately it's not low enough for me Robert, I want it lower but the top ball joint says no :(

Raise the inner pivot of the arm and fit a lower ball joint spacer to retain geometry? Thats what im looking at doing on the metro

That's all I could think of doing, and it wouldn't be too hard to do either. I just don't understand enough about geometry so guessed it would screw it all up.

So last weekend turned out to be pretty decent, picked up a couple of big bits for the build :)

Yeah they'll be getting a refurb, polished lips but not decided on centres yet.

Got to try and make some seat inserts for them though and hopefully use revo wheels nuts.

Are you painting the car the same colour as before? I'd be tempted to paint the centres in a hyper silver type of colour.

It was a tense 2 months waiting on the boat, not knowing whether I'd just chucked a load of cash at some random foreigner who was sending me a box of rice!

Still not 100% on paint colour, most likely stay the same though. Tempted with polished rims and either body coloured or jdm bronze centres.

good shout on the fiat colour, I'm thinking TE37 bronze atm.

The fiat colour is one of the closest matches to the rays bronze if you put it down flat or satin.

Trouble with the rays colour is its anodized so they don't have a colour code for it. I think there is another colour thats pretty close to.
