man i hate photobucket videos never load for me, however 15 mins of waiting it moved :)

About the way you have your WG plumbed in. have you tried to create a reverse dump valve? The idea of a dump value is to try and release the air from backing up into the compressor housing after the throttle is shut; as its the only way out. I get what your logic is trying to do but as the turbine housing is already spinning the correct way arent you just releasing the pre load on the hot side creating more lag as pressure will have to build up again.....or at least more so.....i think?

or was this for another reason its confusing me :)

I've plumbed it exactly how it's supposed to mate. It's two separate circuits as such hot side and cold side. So a dump valve releases the excess pressure on the cold side and keep the turbo spinning.

My setup reduces it from spinning when it's not needed so almost completely bypasses the turbo

There's not much lag at all and its response is very quick when giving it some around the lanes. Il get more videos man *happy*

so you have an electronic boost controller so the top doesn't vent to atmosphere but to the unit then the unit switches on the boost you set not on the spring rate.

the boost controller also dumps air from the cold side as well you say?

what one you got is it a pig, to install and never really thought of electronic always on here of the old bleed valves :)

Cheers Steve

Yeah its an aem, there simple as to install. not sure how you plumb external wastegates with a bleed valve man. So can't say either way

No cold side it's just normal I just let it chatter which it will do alot of when I've got the boost up at 20psi.

Bit of an update. Engines running like a champ. Revs to 8200 with ease.

Then I noticed a very slight shimmer to the oil so decided to drop it and found fragments! So pulled It out this evening.

I know where a few of the bits are from just not the rest. I know it's not engine related so I'm going to strip the box and give it the once over. Especially as gear selection was a bit gritty.

Update. Got it all back together after finding a locktab that had broken up from the idler gear.
Once it was in was running on 2 cylinders found that problem was a wire to the coil pack.
Also shiny parts!
