Looking good! The leccy windows look to be a lot lighter than the standard winders, hmm gets me thinking.

bit of a pain to fit. I've put them in now so I don't damage the skins/paint later on...

Finally had a well earned day off, so I've chopped of the side mount radiator shroud and got all the bits and bobs fastened into the engine bay.

Need to get the lights and interior electrics fitted, then I can start building the new loom. *oh well*

Andy, is that for screen wash or something more exciting?

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

Which one? *wink* The solenoid on the inner wing should have given it away.

The one on the passenger side inner wing will be used for water injection and later on I might experiment with methanol for a few more bananas.

Isn't it.. Expansion tank, catch tank and washer bottle?

Saying that, water injection would be good.

Screen wash is the little one on the drivers side, water injection is the one nearest the front on the passenger side.

Really want to get it painted. Can't stand looking at all that mess, but I've a few jobs left yet...

My eye's have gone square and visio has given me an RSI, but I have the majority of my new loom drawn out.

I thought it was going to be ridiculously hard to get it all drawn out, but with a Haines book of lies and a set of stalks on my lap, it was quite straight forward. The added bonus is that I now have a really good understanding of standard mini wiring...

Good skills. That's one of my next jobs and like you, i've been a little wary of it, thinking it will be quite complicated - i may steal your most excellent layouts to help if you don't mind!! good work :)

I'm a good way through all this but didn't have the forsight to plan ahead the way you have; I've just worked on each circuit at a time, basing the whole thing on a standard loom with the un-neccesary bits removed. god knows how much duplication has gone into my wiring!

Looks good!
The indicator/flasher diagram looks complicated - I only use one flasher unit and no diodes in mine.
Also I think you will need to tie your lighting circuits together to ensure the dip/main can't be on without sidelights - a simple relay should do it.

It's just about the only bit i have planned properly...

Graeme - is that an mot requirement? I'm running them from separate toggle switches.

TBH I'm not sure! Just seems sensible that you have a way to prevent the headlights being on without the tail lights being on.

Fair point. might have a look for a 2 position switch.

Just run the feed to fuse 26 from the side light circuit (after the switch). It is only low current on this cct as it is just to energise the relay.

Thinking about it, it will just confuse me when I'm driving it. So I've ordered a switch and redrawn the circuits as one.

Any other comments/suggestions welcome. Much easier to fix it in a picture than once I've made the loom. *smiley*

EDIT: The hazards/indicators circuit is stolen from Richard's turboed van as we are using the same hazards button.
