Ok, small update, the few teeching problems seem to have sorted themselves out. Gears now engage correctly and clutch seems to be getting lighter day by day. Valve stem oil seals glued down.

They look a lot better in the flesh. I'm really happy with them, they have finished the car off nicely. Class C 3rd Place Avon 2011 14.18 @101mph |

It will never be finished. Already considering a different dash incorporating ones of these that I bought for another project 6 months ago.

Or I might change my focus back onto the red turbo for a while. It's just covered in dust sat in the garage and hasn't been used in over a year. Been seriously thinking about Zcars conversion or braking it to fund a Caterham. Feel like I've exhausted the A series and fancy something different. Edited by alaskanow0 on 20th Jun, 2014. After speaking to John about corner weights, I've took the plunge and bought some secondhand weights

I think 710kg is about right. I've checked each scale with my weight and they seem spot on. Class C 3rd Place Avon 2011 14.18 @101mph |

I wasn't questioning the accuracy of your scales. I just think 710 for your car is quite light. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |
