I've also ordered a metro clutch arm to modify as Joe as done for the RTS.

I compared them against my 7.9 KAD Brakes, and you were right the Kad brakes are far superior and look a lot stronger.

I'm sure they will be just fine for road use.

Have you got the disc in the correct orientation ?

I had mine that way and was point out by a couple of people that they were on the wrong sides.

Even Mini Sport confirmed this, but i dont see the issue.

Im sure someone can advise.

This is something I've never considered. They look the same as on MiniSports Website.

Work in progress on the clutch pedal. Done a mock up. Pedal seems alot lighter, but still as heavy as a grey.

you may well find the clutch gets lighter over the course of a few days use,

when I first put mine in I thought somthing was wrong it was so hard, but it eased up a lot. I think its stiction between the springs as they have to slide over each other,

Ok, had the car running again today. All is well, however the extended clutch level doesn't work. There's not enough overall travel. The bit point is right at the bottom.

Cars all back together, T2 refitted, due to lack of time on the GT17. Few other mods

This bit took me ages to find the link.. I guess its not called the plunger arm *happy*
I drilled down mine so I could use a bolt, bit of trial and error then welded it solid when right length

OK, just been out for first blast. Everything is OK expect gear changes are difficult, I think the clutch is dragging. 2nd to 3rd just jams up 90% of the time. Bitting point is quite low though.

Borrowed the wheels of my red mini.

have you put the short arm back? it looks like it in the engine shot above.

I'd say tripple check for air, wedging the cluch pedal down with a stick betweent the pedal and steering wheel overnight can work wonders sometimes.

or... got any meathead mates? ply them with beer to sit in it and repeatedly press the clutch pedal to bed it in LOL

worth puting a tube from the slave bleed back to the clutch master and pumping the fluid through for a bit, the air can get stuck in the top of the pipe near the master as its a long way down to the slave, especially on a verto.

also I presume this RTS is built on an AP clutch? Ive had issues with the valeo ones not working due to the springs noit sitting together at the centre where the relase bearing contacts.

Yes, I've put the short arm back on. The clutch already feels a little lighter. Im just going to bleed it now. It's 2 AP springs
