Car looks really good

I might have missed it but did you get it weighed on corner weight scales to confirm the weight?

Cheers

I dropped it off on Friday so hoping to get the car back tomorrow. Interested to see what it weighs as 435 seems too light lol

Cars back and had geometry and corner weights done and finally got the removable wheel boss on. Actual weight with 12 litres fuel in it was 492kg I'm happy with that as there's still plenty to come out of it yet :)
Few pics

Your car looks awesome, really like the lack of a tunnel in the floorpan with your leg warmer inside the car. She sits really nice and low to the ground. Keep up the good work.

Life is always a matter of opinion and quite frankly, no ones opinion really matters.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Good effort on the weight front, the initial weight target for my boat anchor project is that it hopefully starts with a 5 but still over 100 kg heavier than yours but it's slow getting there.

I hadn't realised until I saw these photos that it has a swaged ally floorpan as well as the boot floor / seat squab area, is that right?

So the ally floor / boot floor are rivetted / bonded to the original steel side structure and front toeboards? Obviously with the small matter of the spaceframe / cage as well :)

:) the floor is steel and welded to both sills and to all the bracing and the boot floors ally. Was worried about the floor flapping around but it doesn't at all. Your project looks like it should be well in 500's?
*happy* with the cage

Looks a lot better than my huddersfield one!

How far into the exhaust tunnel do you think it would protrude?

It just skimmed across the top when I had an exhaust tunnel. Right out of the way
