Cheers Jimbob! :)

You were right Wil, doing the exhaust is painfully slow! This is the progress tonight...

This is the bell mouth piece welded to the elbow, and my bargain clamp plate from fleebay!

As you can see there is not a great deal of room around it! *oh well*

Ah yeah, forgot about that (already)!

Yeah that'd be good, the TB positioning is on hold for now as there could be a fight for space between the TB linkage and water outlet pipe! *surprised*

strange thing happened today matt, went into thame one stop garage, talking to the guys in there and out of nowhere a guy walks out with a exhaust elbow in his hand, he starts saying hes doing something to it for a guy with a bmw 16v head on a mini block......about half hour later it clicked! lol, thought it looked familiar!! the engine looks mean anyways, good luck too!!

The chances of that are slim, but three times in one day, unbelievable. Maybe Beadle's whinding you up from the grave.

Lol..You've found my secret workshop! *laughing*

Ive just taken my downpipe to him for welding. Hopefully it'll fit between the subframe and block, then this whole exhaust PITA will be over...then its back to the wiring (groan) *oh well*

Ive finally made a start on the wiring, most of it is in just need to fit the O2, wire up water temp sensor, IAT, and connect to ecu.

I bought the convoluted hose and connectors from polevolt and they are sooo much neater than using insulation tape!

The plenum will be finished tomorrow so will get some pics up!

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

And about 40p each so can't really argue. :)

What do you think the chances are of stretching a 60mm silicon hose over a 70mm pipe? lol

Bugger not the answer I was hoping for! lol

For some reason I had it in my head the TB was 64mm when in fact it was 70mm! *oh well*

I need minimal amount of straight section before the hose starts to bend so it fits in so if I order a reducing elbow the reducing straight section will be too long! If I order a 70mm elbow it will be too big for the charge cooler and there isn't enough room for a redcer after the bend! *oh well*
