Got the new hi torque starter fitted so now the car starts 1st/2nd time instead of trying for 5 mins and end up with a flat battery!

Looking good! Shocks look very nice :) I won't be at Avon in the Mini but will hopefully come down in the clio :) I can't get on the rollers until middle of April! |

make sure you insulate that battery terminal on the starter, looks a bit close to the rad and you don't want to be arc welding a hole in that On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:

it looks real close in the pic but there is loads of room between the rad and starter. Engine was struggling to fire earlier, cranks over fine but just wouldn't go easily. It starts fine after its been started once. I'm pretty sure I haven't but only thing I can think of, is I might have knocked the crank sensor. Avon 2010 class c 3rd
