Ok, here they are... the 10x6 wheels I was bidding on! Arrived this morning, nicely chuffed wit them.. will look much better than the 13x7's!

All tyres are brand new, stickers still on them... never been on the road...

Only one of the rims has a couple of very small knocks on it otherwise they are in perfect condition... the damage actually looks worse in the photo below than on the wheel itself, hardly worth reconditioning.. very happy, a steal I reckon at just over £200!

I feel a set of 13x7 black spoked revo's for sale thread coming on....

*Yes*

Yeah well when thinking about wheels I would have said I'd never get revo's again but as soon as I saw these in alloy all over -as opposed to the black, like I have now- I had to have them! Gorgeous!!

Yeah thats news to me too.. I'll inspect them tomorrow.

So this 'S' marking, are they road legal with or without this symbol? I've just had a google and couldn't see nowt? Looked on the yoko website and can see various letters but they relate to speed ratings... click on the link below and scroll down, you will see that 'S' relates to a speed of 112mph, nowt about road legalities...

http://www.yokohamatire.com/tires_101/read...e/speed_rating/

Ok, a little more investigation...

I think I'm wrong in my above post, yes 'S' does relate to a speed rating of 112mph but not for my tyres. On the above pics of my tyres have '72H' on the sticker, the 'H' is the speed rating on these tyres which is actually 130mph. 'S' on my tyre relates to the compound (I do have 'S', I just checked) of the rubber... This doesn't make it illegal (as far as I can find anywhere), in fact I can only deduce that it is road legal as I came across this page (link below) when searching for 'road legal sport tyres'....

http://www.yokohama.co.uk/Tyres/Motorsport...al-Sports-Tyres

If you click on the Advan A032R where it says overview, you'll see 'S' under compound. This is all under 'road legal sports tyres'.

Chaps... a question about brakes (or advice) that I'll be running...

I have a set of 4 pots that have been cleaned up and ready for a rebuild. Now I'm not sure what make they are, nothing obvious written on them but they are quite large... I'm thinking that with these new wheels I may have a problem with them. I don't have them to hand right now, they're in the garage somewhere, I'll post a pic if I can find them soon.. My question is... what setup would you guys go for with the wheels I have above..? I.e. a make/disc size..

I have an inkling but would appreciate your thoughts to see if I'm way off or on par... cheers!

Actually they were quite easy to dig out, here they are... they have ap written on them, forgot about that..

I just placed one inside one of the wheels and tried to imagine a disc in there too.. it does fit but seems quite large.. what d'ya reckon folks?

Looks like standard metro 4 pots.. are they 8.4 discs before... if so youll be needing smaller brakes
