I know it's too late, but you should condider to have the rods shot peened after removing the forging "skin".

Lol, yeah it does look pink, the jos of a phone camera and electric lights.

I know I should have had them shot peened. Although they were pretty much a polished finish so I hoping they don't break. Time will tell I guess.

A lot of pictures seem to have gone missing recently. I have been doing some excavating for bulkhead box photos and failing on lots of them.

I think because only the forum seems to exist at the moment owing to upgrades, all the photos that have been uploaded through the turbominis uploader dont work, but the ones through external hosting sites do.

Thats my theory. Sorry for the thread hijack.

Ive been busy over the last week, but can't upload any new pics. :( Oh and im too lazy to host them somewhere else *laughing*

Plenum is well on is way now, as is the turbo elbow, the bonnet has had the necessary mods, and my 100m of wire has arrived ready to be fitted!

Lol, its amazing how much wire is needed for all the various bits and bobs. The additional weight in wire is concerning me though, I need to start chopping the "unnecassary" wires out to make up for the additional weight! *laughing*

Yeah been there too, and that was with only a few wires, couldn't imagine sorting out a problem with this many wires all the same colour! *laughing*

Yeah the plenum is in progress, just finishing off the trumpets. Im going charge cooler route but i'll probably run it without for a few months because of money and I'd rather get everything else working before addding more complications. *wink*

I have just done trumpets for mine, I am using the plastic bits that ijectors fit into and ally trumpets and plenum. 'O'rings to seal the ally trumpet on to the plastic bits, thought it was easier than making the injector holder bits for ally as well. Post a few pics later

Carl fetched me one reel of black, one of red, and one of yellow when I was getting ready to wire up the DON. He was quite suprised when I then spent nearly £200 at vehicle wiring products, "my twinnie is wired in those colours, what is the matter!" he said, I think when he saw how many wires there were on the DON he realised why.....
