I've always set mine at 1/2 a hole preload (RS turbo T3)

Not cheap, but great if you want ot play with boost and get it right everytime.
Also allows you to add boost at the touch of a button for a 5 second BOOST

Just under 1.5 according to the gauge i bought. Although my drive isn't the best for set up.

On a serious note Nick, just thinking on the way back home after picking up those parts from yours, could it be a possible ignition problem? Misfiring and unburnt fuel giving a really rich afr reading?

Yeah but the problem is I haven't changed the carb settings and it's still running the same 20degree map.

Compression on all cylinders is 160-170 so this should rule out head gasket?

Think I will take the carb off and check if the float or anything is stuck.

Just had a thought it could be the HT leads?

Possibly, are they old leads? Or a loose connection somewhere perhaps

Or a guide nipping.

They arnt new leads so could be them. Which ford has the long leads? Using a KA coil pack.

How would I check that john?

Sorted, number 4 lead said hello to the manifold some how and melted its face off....

Where can I get some nice new long leads from? Guessing its a search for fiesta 1.1?
