done a bit of work today got all of my electrics done bar the 2 aem gauges that just need wiring back to my aux fuse box that ive just fitted. also going to put the fuel pump and mj into that to take the load off the stock fusebox.

also fitted my clutch pipe and wrapped the downpipe. got to do the manifold next

Small up date, nowt special. Knocked up a couple brake lines and stripped the front end down ready for some fresh paint.

I like the idea of the bias brake cylinders, but I think they may steal a lot of space. Is it not better to have them mounted inside?

Your right, its major in the way tbh. Ive gota route my boost pipe over the top of it.

Started building the engine today with help from ron (starmag) cleand it all up and it flew together and turns nicely.

Got a new stock crank, fresh shell and cam bearings. Hone and rering.

Just waiting on my cam then throw it together and in the cap.

Well I had a gd day yesterday. Decided to build it with my old cam for now so cracked on.









So far had no real issues. All went smoothly, now going to fit my gear selector, exhaust. Oil drain pipe then drive shafts.

I'm also scratching my head about how to fit ic pipes and oil breathers with the kad master cylinders!!lol

Tho the clutch is a tad dodgy atm. Think the thrust need to bed in. Lets hope they hold up!

have you used an oil cooler for extra water cooling? how well does it work? my car runs on the warm side

Just made a drop bracket out of an old ultimate steady mount so the adjuster would fit.

And yeah its just to cool the water slightly before it goes back into the bottom hose. Seems to work.

When mine used to run hot I fitted a 6 blade fan, best thing ever for cooling. Works amazingly

Ayup,

Been a while and have many plans after an eventful year.

Got a 13.95 at pod on a 2.9fd (soon to be 3.1) and made 179 bannas and 170 curly whirlys. With a minisport fast road cam in the middle I feel thats good going.

So plan is, more power! More revs! Better cooling and lsd plus alot more.

Right its time to take this apart for all the upgrades ive planned. Finally got a ph2 cam so that should see me break 200 bananas. Also going for a front mount rad as I'm planning some track days. And an lsd among lots of other things.
