llos like it could work well,

if you work out the actual size of the passages of of the air path through the intercooler its pretty small, in the region of 1/4-1/3 of the frontal area of the cooler, a duct of this size the right shape into the intercooler can give a better result.

...well thats what Alan Staniforth reckons anyway

Well I had it on the Slark rollers, I dont know quite what was going on but it managed 199.5 bananas. This was on 20 psi as I ran at Avon.
Im presuming that the air going through the intercooler at speed is keeping the air temps down ont strip.

Here are some more pics:
(There is an extra bit of ducting on there now, and brace bars are slowly appearing)

god that looks awesome Nic!

Where's the bottom rad hose running though? and that's the large bore black rubber hose seemingly going down towardsthe front right wheel past the blue silicon?

I think the bottom hose runs to a leccy pump ant then to the block(with a sililar fitting as used in dry-decking) and then you've done away with the standard water pump? Have no clue with the black hose???

I read a similar theory on intercooler ducting in a book called 'maximum boost' realy good book, only down fall is that its american.

It says 'A rule of thumb is that the duct inlet should be at least one fourth the core area. This rather strange situation is brought about by the fact that less than one fourth of the air molecules would get through he core with little or no attention to ducting'

Thought this was quite interesting, anyone here read that book?
