On our one and only run so far with the Miglia Turbo and GT2056 the log shows boost starting at 2500rpm and 12psi at 4000rpm.

That is with the actuator set as slack as a gays elbow.

Could the difference in threshold of yours and bretts car be related to differences in cam and manifold?

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

Could be cam, we are running a lot more overlap than the Phase2.

Also, the actuator was probably not sealing the wastegate.

most my early logs was with 4.5mm pre-load so basically the waste gate never opened

i dont think my logs show the true boost threshold either as a large amount of antilag/ launch control was in usage at pod
just looked through all my logs, and i think i found the one that i bogged in second and it pulls 204kpa @ 2648rpm

[Edit]
dont forget the stupid advance i was running wouldnt that help the turbo spool up?
33.4 degrees advance *Punch* hit dett as soon as boost came on in 3rd and backed off

Had the head of today for a few reasons first of all i was very surprised to see the gasket still intact looked almost reusable but i resisted lol all the piston rings on no1 seem to have lined up and its leaving an oily burn mark. but on all the cylinders there is what looks like scouring it only comes half way up the bore and its not grooved its like its super polished its in line with the g-pins and mine are floating with nylon end stoppers so it must be that
Amused by the abuse my exhaust gasket has taken ive used it about 8times i can think off its only an ally coated cardboard thing now replaced with one that has fire rings on it
and a uk bk450 back on
some proper coolant going in as its getting really cold now

In all nothing to report

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

cheers dude,

had an insurance quote this evening, tbh i was surprised how vague they wanted the details
for instance the engine is listed as bored out lightened rods, lightened crank
when i went into details he said that its not needed..
24y/o, 0/ncb, fully comp, 2nd car, 8k agreed value, all mods 'vaguely' stated, full and unlimited eu track cover,
2 non fault accidents,
1 at fault accident
driver by trade
and
£525 for the year
and he thinks that will about half when i hit 25y/o

i payed almost that for the clubby
