Replace all the copper crush washers with aluminium crush washers. I only just realised this is one of Porsche's little tricks (and aluminium is cheaper than copper these days too).

Urm...ive now got a fibreglass boot (still needs painting and fitting).

I spent most of last year rebuilding the gearbox, drydecking it, and rebuilding the clutch. So not much more on the weight reduction side of things.

Ive upgraded the turbo from the gt17 as it was a bit small and didn't boost much above 6k. The new turbo pulls all the way to 8.5k and like lots of boost. *happy*

Ive still got lots of stuff to finish off, like setting up the launch control, shift cut etc, that I wired up last year. But this year im just concentrating on getting a clean run out of it. Im desprate to get it on the rollers to see what power it is now, but im running out of time before Avon. :(

is that necesary? usaly they rust away there and since rust is lighter than titanium...............*happy*

Haha the good old days!

I think its about 515kgs but that's just going on calculations. I've been focusing on the gearbox for the past few months and havn't touched the shell since since the summer. *oh well* when the evenings get lighter i'll attack the shell again. :)
