It's one of those pointless, odd quad things.

Just looked at your pics and noticed how close the compresor outlet is to the exhaust manifold. I have clocked my GT1752 differently and the outlet is very close to the manifold/turbo flange.

I have not yet run the car but was concerned how hot the silicone hose was going to get - have you had any indication of any problems ?

BTW I have made some pieces to put over the turbo studs to spread the load a bit because they didnt look very secure to me.

These allow the nut to clamp the two together more securely IMO.

Nice idea. I didn't even use washers lol.

The silicone on the outlet looks just the same as the rest. No problems yet and I've done around 1000 miles.

the washers are a grand idea!

Gary, If you want I can whip a set of thick washers up for you, then you can just hacksaw the notch out to fit, (with a hacksaw blade i'll give you pmsl)

That would be great cheers Joe. No rush though. Hopefully I won't be having the turbo out for a while!

I,ve had enough help and encouragement on here to feel that one little idea like that is small reward to anyone who thinks they can use it.

Just bought some Yoko A048R's.

Hopefully they will help get the power down. The 539's have been letting go at anything over 11 pounds of boost. They've been pretty good till now, but I think they are just getting bit tired.

Fuck all grip off the line... missed second a bit... but managed a 14.6 @ 97mph.

Well, it's a starting point at least and I reckon I got the closest to a FWD wheelie on the day :)

My video is pants, but mildly entertaining.

It rattled a fair bit and the aspect ratio was ruined because of it being rotated 90 deg.

That was the intention, but there was nowhere suitable to stick the suction cup to.

Another 'next time' thing that.
