How do you find the new welder?I keep looking at buying a 160tm for myself but cant decide to go for that or put a bit more money towards something else.

It's fantastic. like night and day compared to the knackered 120e. Not tried it on thick stuff, but it's really good on the low settings for thin stuff like bodywork On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Thanks. It only wanted a patch in the boot and an engine chucking in it when I bought it. It's going to end up 50% new metal at this rate lol

well I started a bit of welding to get mine to avon in 1999! maybe 2011?

Budget and time won't allow for 2011 completion unfortunately. I'm having to earn every penny that gets spent on it and the spec I have in my head realistically needs a lottery win...

They are 6" wide. 3" front and 3" rear. I think the arches are normal group 2s. They stick out about 1 3/4" from the panel so I reckon some 2 1/2" group 2 wides will cover them nicely and keep the look I'm after. Edited by apbellamy on 7th Dec, 2010. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:
