Not much progress, but progress all the same. Wirings always been a problem with this car so I thought I'd start again.

Ripped out the old shitty loom, was in such a state. Wires running straight from the solenoid just hanging up by the scuttle..

Split out the ignition loom, I didn't fancy playing with this much ampage, but turns out it was simpler then I expected..

Loom for the back end...

Front end..

Decided against using the standard style fusebox, an picked one of these nifty things up..

So far so good, all the looms wrapped in nylon braid, looks really nice an is really easy to work with.

Got the glass in too..

That's all for this annual update!

Well, it only took 3 years but I'm finally back onto the mini!

Turns out buying/renovating a house and starting up a business take up more time than expected. Plus side is I've now got my own garage, it's abit smaller than my dads but it's all mine!

I started out by working out what I had/hadn't got so I could compile a list of what I'd need to get this back on track, surprisingly I don't need much! A new yellow tag m/c, new clutch m/c and slave cylinder, new ratchet crimpers and some new group 2 arches and I should be cooking on gas.

Didn't get much done thou, by the time I'd sorted out what I needed, removed the petrol tank and pulled the rest of the old loom the missus came back from shopping with Pizza and Wolf of Wall Street on DVD, nothing was gonna slow me from looking at Margot Robbie in the buff.

Plan is to paint the boot out as it's been missed every time, repaint the bulkhead as it looks a mess, get the wiring in, get the new subframe I've aquired for it blasted and painted, get the motor in then try and get an MOT on her. Even if I don't use it I'd like to know it's all ready for when I can afford to insure/tax it again.

In amongst all that I need new valve guides as mine used to smoke like a chimney, so there might be a small bit of head work in there too as well as an intercooler install.
